On The Road

Here we go again!

One of my favorite parts of working as an Architectural Photographer has been traveling all over the US. This is why I was excited when the assignment from Fairfield Residential came in to shoot 5 of their Denver area  Multi-Family properties. Time to book my flight, grab some gear and hit the road! The plan was to spend six long days of shooting in one of my favorite cities in America. I picked a week in mid October with a pleasant weather forecast since I’ll be shooting twilights and exteriors. One of the properties had 3 models and  required a second day of shooting. Everything lined up very nicely!

Getting the most out of your marketing budget

What makes these road jobs so cost efficient for my Multi-Family Residential clients is their ability to bundle multiple properties within a determined radius. As a result, they’re able to split the travel and lodging costs between the properties. This in turn increases the impact of their marketing dollars while ensuring  a consistent quality and look is maintained throughout their marketing photography. I have shot dozens of these types of projects and am able to travel and execute these shoots without the aid of an assistant. Consequently, this too helps to keep costs down for my client.
